I purchased my Tag Carrera (Automatic Chronograph Day-Date) at Little Switzerland (authorized dealer) on 6/3/10 while on vacation in Aruba. I’ve had problems with it ever since. On the plane ride home I noticed two problems: 1.) the crown had imperfections in it. Not all of the adhesive (black filling) took to the crown – you could see “air pockets” under the black filling, and 2.) the stop watch did not accurately measure TAG Heuer CV2A10.BA0796 an hour as a result of the hour stopwatch hand not sitting exactly at the zero or 12 o’clock position (the hand doesn’t reset properly). The hand sits a full hand in front of the zero or 12 o’clock position, which results in the stopwatch measuring an hour before an hour has past. I’ve tested the watch multiple times. The watch is close to being accurate on some occasions, but is significantly off on others (> 15 minutes per hour).

I contacted Little Switzerland and they said I would have to send my watch to the Tag Service Center in New Jersey (ok, fine). I sent the watch and received it back about a month later. Upon inspection, the back of the case was completely scratched. It appeared as though someone had used a wrong tool or a tool that did not properly fit, as the majority of the scratches were concentrated around the grooves in the back of the case (where a customized tool would fit to open the case). I immediately called the NJ Service Center. I took pictures and emailed them to the Service Rep I spoke to per her request. To make matters worse, the stop watch issue was not corrected. They asked me to return the watch so they could see the scratches for themselves. I had to argue with them before they would cover the shipping costs to re-send it.

I sent the watch back to NJ for them to once again correct the original time issue with the stop watch and to have the new scratches taken care of.

Upon receipt and inspection by Tag, they called me and said that there was no way the scratches were from them. I was speechless. Never did I think Tag would deny responsibility for the damage that they did to my NEW watch. Long story short, they finally offered to pay to have the case refurbished. Before any work was performed (internally for the stop watch issue) I spoke to a Technician regarding the stop watch issue. I talked her though the issue (while my watch was in her hands) and she agreed with my assessment and that there was an issue with the stop watch hour hand not resetting/measuring time properly. She assured me that the issue would definitely be resolved this time.

Have had this nailer for several weeks, used over 1000 or so nails of various lengths with no jams.I bought this nailer to build a garage (good excuse to buy a framer, now I have all the air fastening tools I wanted)and chose Senco because I’ve had their finish nailer for several years with no problems(senco 41xp). I can’t really rate it a full 5 stars yet because I haven’t used it enough but if it keeps going like it has been it would Senco 2H0033N be a 5 star. I’ve had a few nails that were flush with the surface but it looked like the heads were bent over slightly but that could be because I’m using all Paslode roung drive nails (these are suppose to be designed for clipped head nailers). The only thing I don’t like about the nailer is if you would have a jam you would have to loosen a knob at the backside of the magazine to let the entire magazine slide back to clear the jam which could be inconvenient because it really needs to be more than just hand tight (requiring pliers), as it will loosen on its own because of vibration (most have a piece on the front of the nail exit you flip up to open the front of the magazine, otherwise this is a nice compact fraiming nailer, you just need to keep checking the knob after using it awhile and keep it hand tightend it if you don’t want to use pliers. I would reccomend it to a friend.

This pin nailer is basically the Cadex CPB23.35 but with a redesigned blower button and an anti-dry fire feature (won’t fire if you use all the pins/nails). I read a review somewhere that said Grex, Cadex and I believe Nikle all come from the same factory in Taiwan. There is definitely a similarity in the physical look and some design features.

I originally ordered the Grex P635. But after reading reviews I cancelled the order and ordered the Cadex instead. At the time, the Cadex V1/23.35 was offered by Amazon through Woodworkers Specialties. For a few dollars more I decided to get the V1 version because of the anti-dry fire feature.

The main reason I chose the Cadex over Grex was the ability to use the slight head brad nails. The review comparing the two models mentioned this was a nice feature since it would hold better than a smooth shafted pin. I know you can angle the pins differently in a series to minimize slippage, but the brad feature eliminates the issue all together.
